Counselling for stress, trauma, addiction, and major life transitions. A grounded space where you don't have to hold everything together.
What you're experiencing isn't failure. It's what happens when too much has been carried for too long.
Book NowStress, addiction, anger, or emotional pressure pushed aside to keep everything moving. Over time, that weight shows up as burnout, frustration, numbness, or relationship strain.
Separation, career shifts, immigration, recovery, becoming a father, or loss. When your identity shifts and the old playbook stops working, counselling gives you space to think clearly again.
Young men dealing with expectations around success, relationships, and the future. Building emotional awareness, confidence, and practical skills to move forward.
After decades of identity built around work, retirement can feel disorienting. Purpose, routine, and connection all shift at once. Counselling helps you find solid ground in this new chapter.
I take the pressure off so you can understand what's happening instead of reacting automatically.
Anger, withdrawal, and numbness follow patterns. Once you see them, you regain choice.
We explore the experiences and pressures that shaped how you cope today. No judgment.
Each session leaves you with something practical you can apply immediately.
Over time, you'll feel more present with yourself and with the people who matter to you.
All services available by phone or in person. If you don't see availability that works, reach out.

I'm not here to judge you. I'm here to understand you.
Men come to me when they feel overwhelmed, angry, or disconnected, even if they're not sure how to explain it yet.
I take a grounded, human approach. I'm engaged, steady, and focused on helping you make sense of what you're carrying. The work we do together is collaborative and practical.
I use a blend of humanistic therapy, CBT, and mindfulness-based work to help you understand your patterns, shift how you respond, and build a healthier relationship with yourself.
My background working on suicide and crisis lines with the Canadian Mental Health Association taught me how to stay present in difficult moments. I bring that same steadiness into every session.
I wasn't born in Canada. I moved here, rebuilt my life, and know firsthand what culture shock, isolation, and the pressure to adapt actually feel like. That lived experience shapes how I work with people navigating immigration, identity, and the weight of living between two cultures.
I also provide counselling to refugees and newcomers through the Vernon & District Immigrant & Community Services Society (VDICSS). If you're looking for a counsellor who truly understands what you're going through, this is that space.
That's normal. You don't need a script or a list of problems. We start wherever you are, at your pace. The first session is about understanding what brought you here and figuring out whether this feels like the right fit.
