Humanistic Counselling
If any of these feel familiar, you’re not alone.
You don’t feel like yourself lately.
You snap or shut down, even when you don’t want to.
You keep things to yourself because talking feels harder than staying quiet.
You’re carrying pressure no one sees.
You feel like you should be able to handle this on your own.
You’re exhausted from pretending everything is fine.
What you’re experiencing isn’t failure.
It’s what happens when too much has been carried for too long.
Who I Help
Many men are used to handling things on their own. Stress, past experiences, addiction, anger, or emotional pressure often get pushed aside to keep work, family, and responsibilities moving forward.
Over time, that weight shows up as burnout, frustration, numbness, relationship strain, or feeling constantly on edge.
Counselling offers a place where you don't have to hold everything together. We slow things down, make sense of what you've been carrying, and build practical ways forweard so life feels lighter and more manageable again.

How Counselling Works
Slow things down
I take the pressure off so you can understand what’s happening instead of reacting automatically.
Learn to respond instead of react
Anger, withdrawal, and numbness follow patterns. Once you see them, you regain choice.
Understand where it comes from
Together, we explore the experiences and pressures that shaped how you cope today, without judgment.
Build real tools for real life
Each session leaves you with something practical you can apply in real life.
Feel more grounded and connected
Over time, you’ll feel more present with yourself and with the people who matter to you.
My Services & Fees
All services are available by phone or in person. There are times when I am available outside of the listed hours. If you do not see the availability you are hoping for, please get in touch with me by email, text or phone and we can discuss.
About Me
I’m not here to judge you. I’m here to understand you.
Men come to me when they feel overwhelmed, angry, or disconnected, even if they’re not sure how to explain it yet.
I take a grounded, human approach. I’m engaged, steady, and focused on helping you make sense of what you’re carrying. The work we do together is collaborative and practical, to help you feel more in control of your life.
I use a blend of humanistic therapy, CBT, and mindfulness-based work to help you understand your patterns, shift how you respond, and build a healthier relationship with yourself.
My background working on suicide and crisis lines with the Canadian Mental Health Association taught me how to stay present in difficult moments. I bring that same steadiness into every session.
Culturally Sensitive Care
As a counsellor of Arabic heritage, I understand the weight of cultural expectations and identity conflicts. If you’re navigating life between cultures, this is a space where those conversations are welcome.
